KD Hot Apple Pie
As my wife is not a fan of mulled wine as a winter cocktail we are focussing on some simple alternatives. We will be serving some of these up at some, winter markets over the season, this drink is simple yet flavourful.
To prepare your own, start by warming some pressed apple juice in a saucepan.
Add 1 Cinnamon stick per person to a pan
add pressed apple
in your cup add 5cl of Events Rwm (Rum for the non Welsh!) - Spiced Apple liqueur
if you like a little stronger add 2.5cl of vodka
Let the mixture simmer on low heat for around 10/15 minutes to enhance the flavour of the cinnamon. Serve it warm in festive mugs with the spirits suggested, garnished with the cinnamon sticks from the pan, you can also add some apple slices. The blend of the spices in the run will elevate this so you feel that your are eating a warm apple pie.
Hot Toddy: A Soothing twist on a Classic
If you need a drink that warms you up and alleviates throat irritation, the hot toddy is ideal. This simple cocktail blends hot water, Whiskila, honey, and lemon juice.
To make it, boil a cup of water and pour it into your favourite mug. Add:
1 shot of Celtic Rebel
1 tablespoon of honey
A squeeze of fresh lemon juice
Stir until the honey dissolves. For an extra kick, try adding a pinch of ginger or cloves. A hot toddy is not only comforting but can also aid in alleviating cold symptoms, making it a go-to in chilly weather.

Start with fresh juice you can use many variations we suggest apple or pineapple:
add a cinnamon stick per person
Warm in pan for 10/15 mins
50cl of our Clementine & Berry Gin (new release mid November)
or for a lighter version our cranberry liqueur
Serve in a cosy mug garnished with a slice of orange or a few winter berries & the cinnamon stick. This drink is perfect for any winter gathering or a quiet night at home.
Add oomph to your Hot Chocolate
For those with a sweet tooth, a twist on a traditional hot chocloate is a must-have winter warmer cocktail. Start by making a rich hot chocolate - white or normal from scratch or using a favourite mix.
After preparing the hot chocolate, add:
50cl of one of our allergen free liqueurs -
- White Chocolate Vodka
- Dubai Chocolate
- Dubai White Chocolate
- Blonde Chocolate
- Chocolate Mint (new release)
Top it off with whipped cream and crushed candy canes/ marshmallows/ sprinkles for a festive touch. This drink not only satisfies cravings for something sweet but also keeps you warm and toasty during the winter chills.
Coffee base: A Scwelsh twist to the usual Irish!
When you need a caffeine boost on a cold day, Irish coffee is a perfect choice. This cocktail combines rich coffee, Irish whiskey, sugar, and a dollop of cream on top.
To make it, brew a strong cup of coffee and mix in:
5cl shot of Celtic Rebel
Sugar to taste
or
5cl shot or our Fire Dragon Rum
Sugar to taste
Stir well and gently pour cream on top by using the back of a spoon for a beautiful layered effect. This warming drink is delightful for brunch or as a post-dinner treat.
Gingerbread Martini

2 ounces of our Purest Dragon Vodka
1 ounce of ginger liqueur or syrup
1 ounce of cream
